Harrison Chinedu Makes History Again: Sets New Record Riding A Bicycle Over 100KM With A Ball On His Head
Remember That Guy That Walked 30miles With A Ball On His Head? He’s back. And yes, you read the headline right.
On Sunday, 20th November, 2016 Harrison Chinedu, set a new Guinness world record for “traveling with a ball balanced on his head while riding a bicycle” from La Campaigne Tropicana, Ibeju Lekki to National Stadium, Surulere in Lagos state, a distance of 103.6 kilometeres to be exact.
Harrison Chinedu covered the distance without any incidence under the watchful supervision of Guinness World Record officials, local and international media and a multitude of fans and well-wishes that began the 9-hour journey from the outskirts of Lagos island.
“It is a record created by me and now I’m very glad I made. I hope the Guinness World Record validate it and give me the results.” Explained Chinedu to reporters still with the ball on his head.
The Nigerian footballer currently holds the world record of ‘walking with the ball over the head’ earlier in the year covering a distance of 48.04 kilometers in 6 hours and 15 minutes, and this time around, he decided to push the limits with his new effort.
Marketing & Corporate Communications manager of Bet9ja, sponsors of this epic feat, Tunji Meshioye, said as his backers they “never doubted Harrison Chinedu’s Ability to achieve the feat.”
